MV Switchboard
CAS
SF6-insulated, MV prefabricated switchgears, CAS type, are compact and have been disigned for a safe, reliable and long-lasting operation, non-extendable and specially suitable for installation in MV/LV transformer substations of power supply utilities and industry. Whenever the instructions of this manual are accurately followed, they are used  for  the purpose they have been designed for and for a service under the normal operating conditions of IEC 60694 and IEC 60265-1

  •  Rated voltage - current: 36kV - 400/630A.
  •  Power frequency withstand voltage, 50 Hz., 1 min: 70kV.
  •  Lightning impulse withstand voltage: 170kV.
  •  Rated peak withstand current: 40/50 kA.
  •  Rated short-time withstand current (1s): 16/20 kA.
  •  Switch-disconnector type: E3.
  •  Working temperature: -15º, +40º.
  •  Rated gas pressure, relative: 0,3 bars.
  •  General protection degree: IP - 3X.
  •  Gas tank protection degree: IP - 67.
MCset

MCset switchboards are made up of several interconnected functional units. The power connections are made between the functional units within a switchboard via a single busbar. The electrical continuity of all of the metal frames is provided by the connection of each functional unit’s earthing busbar to the switchboard’s main earthing circuit. Low voltage wiring trays are provided in the switchboard above the low voltage control cabinets. Low voltage cables can enter the switchboard through the top or bottom of each functional unit.
